1. Some practical things Ponyboy and Johnny were supplies and they cut and painted their hairs.
2. Some of the things the boys did to pass time were: read, smoke, played cards, saw the sunset.
3. The visitor that came to see them was Dallas. He brought a letter from Soda to Pony and half of his paycheck.
